Before we start, I have a confession to make. I’m not a fan of football in the first place. Even though I know more about the sport than most casual football fans, I don’t really know why anyone would be interested in watching a game where half the players don’t do a lot of moving around. As such, you can probably guess that I have never even watched an entire football game from start to finish.

So, why, then, am I a fan of the Dallas Cowboys? Believe it or not, there’s a lot that makes them a great football team that isn’t just because they are winning or because they’re in the NFL. In fact, the simple fact that the Dallas Cowboys are the most popular football team in America is an incredible achievement in itself.
Why the Dallas Cowboys Are Better than Other NFL Teams
The following is a list of reasons why the Dallas Cowboys are better than other NFL teams.
First, they have the best record in the league. At least through the end of Week 16, this is true. If the Cowboys beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday (which will be their opponent on Saturday), they will also be the best team in the NFL for the first time in over a decade, as the New York Giants can only move into the top spot with a win over the Washington Redskins.
Second, they have the best running back in the NFL. Despite having one of the worst rushing attacks in the league, the Cowboys are second in the league with 1,035 rushing yards and are tied for fourth in the league in total rushing yards.
