The stadium was designed by Populous and construction began in April 2010. The stadium was originally called Veterans Stadium when it opened in 2006. The stadium was expanded in 2015 and is now known as University of Phoenix Stadium. The expansion included a 6,000-seat underground garage and an additional 8,000-seat upper-level terrace. The renovation gave the stadium capacity for 63,000 fans, or 26,000 standing room only and 29 luxury suites.

Parking at University of Phoenix Stadium
The lots for Stadium parking for Cardinals games are located outside of the stadium near the intersection of Mountain Vista and Taylor Road. Prices vary depending on the day. The longer you wait to get a spot, the higher the price. In general, prices for a spot in a standard lot is $20.

After picking up a parking pass, walk to the entrance of the parking lot and scan the QR code at the kiosk. Your parking pass is scanned and you are given a ticket for each parking pass.
